Miami-based national commercial mortgage brokerage firm Onyx Funding has announced that it arranged a land acquisition loan for the purchase of a 7,000-square-foot lot in the Venetian Island neighborhood of Miami Beach. The loan, which closed in mid-September, was for $3,150,000 and had a loan-to-value (LTV) of 70 percent.

During the pandemic, Onyx Funding was consistently able to execute and close deals, including a $10 million construction loan for a condominium mixed-use project in Charlotte, N.C. and a $3 million cash-out refinance perm loan for a newly built multi-family project in Florida.
