Executive Leadership
Shaun founded Onyx Funding to raise the standard in real estate capital markets.
With over $5 billion in transaction experience across all major asset classes, capital structures, and market cycles, he brings a rare blend of institutional strategy, founder-level execution, and deep deal fluency.
Before Onyx, Shaun launched and scaled multiple ventures, including Skyline Marketing—a capital markets consultancy where he advised fintech and growth-stage companies on sales strategy, marketing execution, and operational infrastructure.
He led teams of over 150 people across three countries, helping clients scale with discipline, speed, and clarity.
His early career in sales and client success built the foundation for how he leads: with urgency, precision, and a deep respect for the client’s experience. At Onyx, Shaun drives strategy, capital relationships, and deal execution.
Daniel oversees origination and capital markets execution at Onyx.
With more than $800 million in structured transactions under his leadership, he brings deep expertise across the capital stack.
Before joining Onyx, Daniel underwrote over $2 billion in CMBS loans at Rialto Capital, analyzing portfolio risk and managing a pipeline of more than 100 non-performing assets.
He later advised startups on equity structures and strategic growth, giving him a unique ability to blend financial rigor with creative problem solving.
Daniel holds both a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in International Business from the University of Florida.
Jennifer leads the operational backbone of Onyx.
With a proven track record in processing thousands of transactions, Jennifer ensures deals move from term sheet to closing with precision, speed, and discipline.
Her deep expertise and unwavering standards are core to Onyx’s execution engine.
Prior to joining Onyx, Jennifer worked as an executive assistant to a top-producing group at Douglas Elliman.
Where she developed a strong foundation in real estate operations and client service.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.
